Learn the skills needed to save a life
About Me
Welcome to my website. My name is Malcolm Bowen (RGN) and I am passionate about caring for people and saving lives.
As a member of the Resuscitation Council (UK) all my courses on First Aid are research based and in line with Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines.
I am a Registered General Nurse and ENB 998 (Teaching and Assessing Clinical practice) as well as a Qualified First Aid Trainer through AID Training.
I live in Weston-super-Mare but this hasn't always been the case. My passion has always been to care for others. After leaving school, I served in the the Royal Air Force between 1965 and 1973.
I had a break between 1973 and 1980 to work in the commercial world, but I returned to nursing in 1980. Nursing gave me the opportunity to travel in Europe and the Middle East. Part of my role was to carry out humanitarian work.
In September 2019 I completed my First Aid Instructors Course through AID Training. This included Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
My combined experience of nursing and the commercial sector has given me a range of skills. I am now able to use these skills in my business.
As part of M De C B Medical I can offer Emergency First Aid at Work Courses. These courses range from a full day L3 Emergency at work course to the 3 Day First Aid at Work course. The full day EFAW and the 3-day FAW courses all have and AED training module in them.
